They also do some yummy drinks. they’re tucked inside the Kmart centre in the Melbourne CBD. I think it’s one of the best Malaysian restaurants in Melbourne. ”
“ Came for the hainanese chicken but loved their chee cheong fun! Chee Cheong Fun was sweet, savoury, spicy and soft, with those rice rolls soaking up all that flavour. Teh tarik was also authentic and delicious, both maybe a tad too sweet. Lots of chicken in their signature chicken rice dish, but rice was a bit hard. The sweet soy sauce helped it. Their laksa had a funny aftertaste, also think it was lacking that authentic laksa kick that I remember from my time in Malaysia & Singapore and compared to other Melbourne restaurants. Read people’s previous reviews of its affordable price range but it’s gone up $4 it seems from last year. For what you get, could be cheaper. Next time would come for their kaya toast, heard so many great things! Great for CBD goers, hard to get to for people that don’t commute to the city. ”

I couldn’t eat it all because it was that spicy. The veggie puff was so light, fluffy, and packed with that nostalgic curry flavour. Everyone was ordering these to-go and now I get why. The lekor was tasty too - different to the steamed version I’m used to, but a fun twist.
